Enjoy the complete performance, warts and all

The remastered concert, sourced from an amateur audience recording, features Roger Houdaille, Michelle Grand, Guiseppe Rodriguez, Lucas Queiroz, and Eric Hernandez, delivering a unique setlist of rarely played songs, fan favorites, and a stirring rendition of the alt-rocker “Jet Lag.”

This memorable Miami Beach performance highlights the enduring impact of Burris’ dedication and passion for teaching, as well as the band’s gratitude for their beloved mentor. Notably, the concert includes songs from their 2015 Pure Gold album and the forthcoming Glazer/Hazerr album, both of which are featured on Think Like A Key Music’s recent release, On The Sidelines: The Albums 2015-2017.

Doug Burris, who created the first official “School of Rock” over 40 years ago, remained a passionate educator despite being wheelchair-bound due to multiple sclerosis. The Rock Ensemble program he founded not only nurtured thousands of students but also garnered numerous awards and national recognition.
